This single malt was distilled at Caol Ila distillery on Islay on the 3rd of August 2010. It was aged for 11 years partly in First-fill Sherry hogshead. It was bottled from a single hogshead at natural cask strength without chill-filtration or artificial colouring by The Red Cask Co.
|NOSE||Seaweed, dry, sweet smoke. Some leather comes through as well.|
|PALATE||Smoky, dry, sweet aniseed woody taste, with slightly dark chocolate flavours, still some sweet notes lingering on the tongue.|
|FINISH||Dry wood slightly smoky lingering after taste of dark chocolate.|
