Barriques are small casks of around 225 litres, so the spirit gets more wood contact and a more intense influence from the cask.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSpending its whole life in the Amarone barrique has layered a jammy richness over the buttery, fatty Bruichladdich spirit.
