Benriach 17 Years Old Refill Borubon

ABV: 47.3% 70 cL

This single malt was distilled on the 11th of May 2007 at the Benriach Distillery in the Speyside region of Scotland. It was aged for 17 years in a single refill ex-bourbon hogshead, creating fruity, nutty and slightly peppery malt with notes of melon, peach, apricot, walnut and white pepper. 

Bottled by Fragrant Drops at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring. 

Nose

Honeyed apricot, strawberries, fromage frais, strawberry jam doughnut, sweet red apple, white table grapes, hay, barley sugar, cut grass, sesame.

Palate

Apricot yogurt, pear, honeydew melon, peach, sauternes.

Finish

Lemonade, walnut, nutmeg, white pepper, mustard, leather, giant gobstopper, malt.
