This single cask whisky was distilled at Auchroisk distillery in the Speyside region in 2006. It was aged for 15 years in a Sauternes Hogshead and bottled at natural cask strength by Alistair Walker for his Infrequent Flyers collection.
|NOSE||A big nose - dried figs, treacle toffee and peanut brittle.|
|PALATE||Rich, viscous and oily. Multi-layered. Apple strudel and stewed raisins. Rum baba and dark chocolate. A slightly spicy, prickly edge.|
Only 286 bottles were produced.
