After a pre-ageing in a Chardonnay cask - which gives the whisky a sweetness with vanilla and wood notes, this exceptional single malt whisky is transferred for a few more months for the unique finish in a Pedro Ximenez American oak sherry cask to give the whisky its additional pleasing aromas.
Nose: Pleasant spicy sherry notes, fine oak aromas, a hint of lavender.
Palate: Convincing sherry spice, nice pink pepper notes, salted caramel.
Finish: Pleasant long lasting typical sherry notes.
