This single malt was distilled in November 2008 at Blair Athol Distillery the Highland region of Scotland. It was aged for 12 years in a single refill hogshead and it was bottled in June 2021 by Douglas Laing for their old Particular collection.
Clean, crisp and fragrant with cereal, gentle spices and hot buttered toast.
Clean as anticipated - carrying barley and honey, now also with sugary citrus.
Fudge-y, melted and really sweet, with nice amalgam of all the above.
