Single malt whisky distilled at Benrinnes distillery in September 2007, initially aged in a refill American Oak and finished for 2 years in a first-fill ex-bourbon barrel from Koval Distillery in Chicago. Bottled by The Whisky Cellar without chill-filtration in 2021.
Nose: Banana bread and cake spice.
Palate: Spicy with sweet hints of marzipan and cocoa powder, followed by citrus lemon tart notes.
Finish: Honeyed fruits and sweet spice.
Only 149 bottles produced.
