Lindores Single Malt Scotch Whisky ‘THIRON’ 2024 is the first in a series of annual releases that celebrate Lindores Abbey’s centuries-old ties to the French village and Abbey of Thiron-Gardais where the Tironensian monks came from, who laid down the spiritual foundations of Scotch Whisky.
This bottling from Lindores Abbey Distillery has been matured in a combination of French Virgin Oak casks, Bourbon casks and red wine Barriques of exceptional quality developing a unique profile. This Lindores Single Malt is bottled at the distillery at 49.4% ABV.
TASTING NOTES:
| NOSE: | Mellow vanilla cake, caramel syrup, baking spices and fruity plum jam. |
| PALATE: | Oaky vanilla, butterscotch, plum jam playing with cinnamon, ginger notes and layers of roasted chestnuts. Silky texture on the palate, very well balanced and complex. |
| FINISH: | Medium length and pleasing finish. |
