This single malt whisky was distilled at Caol Ila distillery, located on Islay and known for full-bodied, peaty distillate, in March 2013. Aged for over seven years in a hogshead and finished in a Pedro Ximenez Octave for a little over a year. As a result, the notes of Grilled banana and eucalyptus leaf combine with ginger and cloves.

 

This tremendous single cask malt was bottled at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring by Lady of the Glen - Icons of Whisky Independent Bottles of the Year 2022. Only 56 bottles were produced.
